Oracle Advanced Customer Services - Service Delivery Engineer (Middleware)

This position is based in WARSAW.
Delivery of technical expertise in assigned Oracle product domain(s) to selected Oracle customers either onsite or remotely.
Wymagania:
SCOPE:
- Reports to Advanced Customer Services (ACS) Delivery management
- Works as part of the Oracle ACS EMEA Delivery team
- Works closely with ACS Sales in a pre-sales capacity to present delivery experiences to potential customers
- May be asked to work during nights or weekend on occasional basis
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver technical expertise in assigned Oracle product domain(s) to selected Oracle customers either onsite or remotely
- Serve as second line support resource
- Provide technical guidance and assistance either as required or as part of longer term engagements with key customers
- Provide reactive onsite and/or remote technical assistance in close cooperation with Oracle Global Support and Product Development for problem analysis and investigation
- Provide alternative temporary workarounds to technical problems in customer’s Oracle systems
- Provide proactive technical advices to avoid possible future issues
- Work with customers and other Oracle professionals to ensure proper design and implementation of relevant solutions
- Document work delivered to customers
- Become recognized expert in respective Oracle product area
Oferujemy:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University Degree
- Fluency in both English and Polish languages
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with either middleware administration or system integration projects
- Advising on system high availability solutions and design of highly resilient and scalable middleware architecture
- Experience with complex incident diagnostics and resolutions in multivendor and multitechnology environments
- Previous J2EE development skills is appreciated asset
- Ability to work in dynamic, changing environment

REQUIRED/DESIRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:
- Required: Oracle Database 9i and/or 10g, 11g basic concepts
- Required: Oracle iAS or WebLogic/WebSphere server expertise knowledge
- Required: Advanced performance tuning , optimization and problem diagnostic techniques for middleware
- Advantage: J2EE advanced, JSP, Java Servlets
- Advantage: Java programing skills using Eclipse or JDeveloper
- XML, HTML
- Advantage: LDAP and general Identity Management experience
- Advantage: Webservices and SOAP practical experience
- Advantage: Basics of Internet security
- Advantage: Strong UNIX skills and MS Windows operating system knowledge
